AAFP should support individual physicians & patients as individuals

Dr. Blackwelder, practicing family physicians believe and practice by the Oath of Hippocrates for patients and individuals not the socialist/communist Plato population medicine being advocated by the US government. The AAFP should back its individual physicians and their individual patients, not control schemes like PPACA Obamacare.
Best wishes for good health,

Please see the enclosed note by the ABMS.

The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), of which The American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) is a member, recently launched a public comment web page to solicit additional feedback about the proposed standards for the ABMS Program for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) from a larger and more diverse group of respondents.

To date, hundreds of individuals from the ABMS Member Boards Community, including the ABMS Board of Directors, Associate Member organizations, diplomates and the public, have provided input into the development of these proposed standards.

If you would like to be part of the review process, visit the Public Comment Web Page on the Proposed Standards for the ABMS Program for MOC at (http://standardspubliccomments.abms.org) and submit your comments. In addition, please feel free to share the web page address with stakeholders who you believe will be interested in commenting on the proposed standards. The comment period ends November 20, 2013.
