So it continues ad absurdum infinitum, (All for a measly 200 dollars or in other cases 0.5% increment in the already below poverty level pay scale? There is no humor in this, only sadness at our inability to be effective in fighting for peoples real rights, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.

Remember those words in their complete form? We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Reply to HHS Sec. Sebelius

Secretary Sebelius,

Your acceptance of responsibility for the website disaster is incomplete. What is missing are the words “…therefore, I have resigned from the office of Secretary of HHS”. You were a very good lobbyist for the plaintiff attorneys and you should return to that occupation. You succeeded in keeping any measure of tort reform out of the new healthcare laws, which should get you a very nice position with the ambulance-chasers. By overruling an FDA committee on Plan B, you demonstrated that you are out of touch with medical science and even the policies of your own party. Let a qualified physician run HHS and try to rescue ObamaCare before that name becomes synonymous with failure and your incompetence destroys the President’s historical legacy.

Call to Action from Charles J Smutny III, DO, FAAO

MOC is only the tiniest part of this but it is a great place to start. We all share similar views on this and yet I still don’t get to see any real data one way or the other. I keep hearing it is out there but cyberspace, many media sources today and government offices all have one thing in common, there is a great deal of “ghost data” that they all site but no one ever gets to see it, count it, measure it or test its methods of collection for validity.

I would love to help write a definitive “shot across the bow” but I need hard number to do that. The fact that the AMA only really represents a percentage  – in the teens – of all physicians says nothing about those other persons beliefs, wants and desires other than not to be a part of that machine. It does not even say why they are not.

1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay or any other benefits when they’ve completed their term in office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

When will media report both sides of PPACA Obamacare?

How is it that the media continues to attempt to distract the public away from the real problems in ACA. While they worry about access to a web store, real healthcare choices are going down the tubes. While they concern themselves with the grand standing and the Government shutdown, the media ignore a price hike in basic drugs that should be bringing law suits by the thousands against big Pharma. While they shout about who is responsible for this mess, the largest spending package in history [ which does not even have a clearly defined number of pages to the law (900-2700 plus pages depending on who you read)] is being lead into utilization without even a glimmer of the outrageous fees hidden within it and as yet undiscovered costs that seem fine for the investment community but spell disaster for the common US citizen.

When will journalists begin to behave like their forefathers did and task the system to answer the questions we need answered before we bankrupt the country and destroy the working class.

Letter to Congressman LoBiondo R-NJ 10/03/13

Now is no time for weakness in your knees or your party. Do not give in until you get a balanced budget than pays down our debt and defunds or repeals PPACA Obamacare. Obamacare is more than flawed, it is unconstitutional as it demands private citizens buy for profit insurance policies, was passed with many congressional favors for each other and supporters, has driven up insurance policy costs by 20%-500%, forces insurmountable taxpayer debt, rule by IRS force, ameliorates patient privacy though EHR HIEs and destroys freemarket patient choice. It totally obliterates the patient physician relationship and gives away $1,800,000,000 to private insurance companies. It has caused many companies to reduce full time employees to less than 30 hours to reduce their insurance benefit cost burden and government paperwork. The law is bad and will hurt all but congressional cronies as they have exempted themselves illegally. Only freemarket healthcare competition and personal individual healthfreedom can succeed for the health of our people and their physicians. The Congressional and Presidential tyranny must end and you and your party must do it. Save our country from ruin and the lives of its working tax paying citizens. THANK YOU!
