With all due respect, the AOA has no right to sell out our professional rights and privileges to government, health insurance, or any other entity. If what you said was true, in the least, all would be informed and supportive of what the AOA was doing. I still assert the entire profession, barring few like yourself having dinner with CMS in Washington DC, are in the dark. Those of us with some light, and intensely committed to the profession’s survival, and that of our patients, are incensed at insiders like yourself choosing to sell us into slavery for “the collective good of all.” A.T. Still DO is rolling over in his grave for your actions.
Apparently you and your “truth” cannot stand up to questions or scrutiny; the one I, and others know does and will stand the test of time. I will not practice osteopathic medicine in your government & employer sponsored health insurance box; no DO can or should.
Now lets act together to free our profession from government and health insurance and legal intrusion so that we may help humbly help patients achieve their best health.
Best wishes for good health,
